The West Midlands' first metro mayor will be elected next month - but what do you really know about the role?

BBC Midlands Today's Elizabeth Glinka has been touring Birmingham, the Black Country and Coventry finding answers ahead of a special televised debate.

The six candidates vying for the role are James Burn (Green), Pete Durnell (UKIP), Beverley Nielsen (Liberal Democrat), Sion Simon (Labour), Graham Stevenson (Communist) and Andy Street (Conservative).

The debate will be shown on BBC One on 20 April at 22:45 BST.
