Samuel Armstrong's life 'turned upside down' by rape allegation

A Conservative MP's chief of staff who has been cleared of rape said his life had been "turned upside down" by the accusations.

Samuel Armstrong, aide to South Thanet MP Craig Mackinlay, said he and the woman had consensual sex after drinking in the Houses of Parliament.

He was found not guilty at Southwark Crown Court.
