Covid-19: PM sets out England’s return to three-tier system

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has outlined the plans for England after lockdown, which entails a return to the regional tier system, but with stricter measures.

"More regions will fall at least temporarily into higher tiers than before"

People will be able to leave home for any purpose and meet others outside, according to the rule of six.

"I can’t say that Christmas will be normal this year," Mr Johnson added.
