Greg Rutherford awarded honorary doctorate

Olympic gold medallist Greg Rutherford has been awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Bedfordshire.

The long jumper, who became a Doctor of Science, is nursing a hamstring injury. He told Jonathan Park he hopes he will recover in time for the Athletics World Championships and would be "hugely disappointed" if he did not make the team.
