Banbury drink-drive victim 'lucky to be alive'

A former firefighter says he feels lucky to be alive after he was knocked off his motorbike by a drunk driver.

Mark Richards, 46, suffered life-changing injuries and has struggled to walk since the crash in Banbury, Oxfordshire, in July.

He was based at Waddesdon Fire Station in Buckinghamshire and is supporting Thames Valley Police's Christmas campaign against drinking and driving.
