Video captures flash flooding and hail in Hertfordshire
The effects of sudden heavy rain and thunderstorms in Hertfordshire were captured on video.
Pictures showed large hail, flooded underpasses and cars struggling to pass through deep water.
The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning covering the East of England through Tuesday afternoon and evening.
Up to 20mm (0.8 inches) of rain was predicted within an hour for some areas.
