New Tesco depot in Reading set to create jobs

Supermarket Tesco has confirmed a new distribution centre in Reading will create hundreds of jobs.

The company said the depot, on the former Courage Brewery site, will open in May.

Three other centres will be closing with some staff moving to the new site.

But Tesco has promised it will offer 85 jobs to people who have been unemployed for more than six months.
