Platinum Jubilee: Remembering the day we met the Queen

Millions of people will celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee from afar, but for a few the weekend's celebrations will have a personal touch.

During her 70-year reign the Queen has met thousands of people on official visits and at garden parties.
