Jamaicans ready for Olympics after Birmingham training

The Jamaican track and field team said they were ready for the Olympics, after training in Birmingham.

Hundreds of people from schools, sports clubs and community groups watched a session at the athletics track at the University of Birmingham's Edgbaston campus.

Team manager Ludlow Watts said: "We are not going to make predictions because we know the world is after us.

"We are saying to ourselves the Olympics is the biggest stage in the world… and when we go there we are going to excel on the big stage."
