Knife teen's family call for tougher sentences

The family of a teenager stabbed to death in Birmingham are calling for tougher sentences for those found guilty of knife crime.

Hassan Mahmood, 15, died in July. West Midlands Police announced they would introduce a "knife surrender" policy as a way of getting knives off the streets of the city.

Giles Latcham spoke to Sajid Ramzan, Hassan's uncle, Raj Rattu, a community worker and Det Ch Insp Simon Wallis from West Midlands Police.
