'Islam plot' row governor is 'victim of witch hunt'
A chairman of governors has said he was not involved in an anonymous letter outlining an alleged plot to oust head teachers at four Birmingham schools.
The letter, sent to the city council, claimed the plan aimed to make the schools adhere to more Islamic principles.
The document names Tahir Alam, chairman of governors at Park View School, but he said he was not involved and it "maligned" his good name.
BBC Midlands Today's special correspondent Peter Wilson reports.
