Homeless ex-guardsman given a Dudley flat by landlord
A homeless former guardsman has moved into a flat offered online by a landlord to ex-soldiers living on the streets.
Former Grenadier Guardsman Daniel said he has been struggling to adapt to life outside the services, and has been sleeping rough in parks. allotments and under bridges for three months.
An advert posted by landlord Chris Foxall on Facebook offering a flat in Dudley to a homeless former serviceman has been seen by almost 14m people on social media.
Daniel will be able to live in the flat rent-free for three months, and has also had a car donated by a local business to held him in the search for a job.
