Birmingham experiences wave of lorries getting into literal scrapes
A lorry was stuck on tram lines for hours on Tuesday morning and within days, in the same city, another was caught under a bridge.
Friday's tight squeeze - under a bridge in the Dale End area of Birmingham - is just the latest in a series of squeaks across town.
A Dale End bridge was the problem for another lorry in November and then in January, one shredded the roof of its trailer under a bridge by a railway station, scattering debris across the road.
The vehicles which could not budge at the public transport hubs caused disruption to rush hour commuters.
