Birmingham homeless charity seeks hot meal volunteers

HomeLess One serves hot meals to people five nights a week from its base in Digbeth, Birmingham.

The charity wants to expand that to every night, but needs about 20 people to help out each evening.

Fellow homeless charity Shelter estimated there were 57 people sleeping rough on the streets of Birmingham, but more than 15,000 homeless in the city, sofa surfing or sleeping in temporary accommodation.
