HS2 revamp for Birmingham's Curzon Street station

Restoration work has started on the former Curzon Street station in Birmingham.

The Grade I listed building, which dates back to the 19th Century, will eventually be turned into a visitors' centre next to the new HS2 high-speed rail terminus.

HS2 Historic Environment Manager Jon Millward said it should be a "jewel in the crown for Birmingham".
