West Midlands Police bodycam footage to be live streamed

West Midlands Police officers are to live-stream footage from their body-worn cameras.

The force has become the first in the UK to switch on the function.

It means control room operators and commanders can monitor situations as they happen and deploy more officers if needed.

The force has released recordings of some of the incidents in which the technology was used during the trial period, including of a robbery.
