A Dictionary of Bristle book celebrates 10th birthday

A guide aimed at helping people understand the Bristolian dialect is celebrating its 10th birthday.

The Dictionary of Bristol is dedicated to Bristol-born professor Colin Pillinger, a former planetary scientist who led Britain's Beagle 2 mission to Mars.

The book is even used in some language teaching at the University of Bristol.
