Bristol trial tests chlorine sticks for kidney disease
Doctors at the Bristol Royal Infirmary are trialling chlorine sticks, more commonly used by swimming pools to check chlorine levels, to treat people with with kidney problems.
Dr Jonathan Tyrell-Price explains how the sticks can be used to read salt levels in urine for hydration tests.
BBC health correspondent Matthew Hill also spoke to Lizzie Rees who has short bowel syndrome and is taking part in the trial.
