Deer trapped in Bristol allotments by MetroBus works
Footage has been captured of two deer trapped inside an allotment in Bristol after accidentally being fenced in by road workers.
The roe deer got stuck inside Stapleton allotments after contractors working on the nearby MetroBus scheme inadvertently blocked off their escape route two months ago.
Work on the £216m "rapid transit" bus scheme has seen commuters enduring roadworks in the city centre, on the M32 and various other locations in South Gloucestershire.
Allotment keepers say they are worried the animals will not leave because of the building work going on around them.
