Ebrahimi's sisters 'shocked and saddened' at report

The Safer Bristol review found that Bristol City Council and police systems repeatedly failed to respond to an accumulation of crime reports, made by Mr Ibrahimi and that they "sided with his abusers" by default.

Mr Ebrahimi's sisters, Mojgan Kahayatian and Manisha Moores told the BBC's Jon Kay "the report contains words we shouldn't be using in this day and age".

But they said it was "better late than never."
