Secret Victorian street buried under the Packhorse in Bristol

Buried under a busy Bristol road lies a row of lost Victorian shops.

The secret underground street is hidden under what is now Church Road in Lawrence Hill.

When the railways came through the area, the company simply raised the road level, burying whole buildings and the shop fronts below.
