Heatwave: 'Don't waste dishwater - use it to water plants'
A gardener with more than 40 years' experience has shared his top tips to keep plants alive during the heatwave.
David Jordan, who works at Anglesey Abbey, in Lode, near Cambridge, said people did not need to worry about watering grass in this weather.
"It is very resilient," he said. "It will come back."
Another tip includes using cold dishwater to water plants.
