Poppy travels through Cornwall

A 6ft (1.8m) poppy has been pushed through Cornwall to raise money for the Royal British Legion.

A team from the Army, Navy and Royal Air Force are hoping to cover the equivalent of six marathons over six days.

They are aiming to finish at Truro's Lemon Quay on 3 November.

Shaun Pascoe, one of those taking part, said: "This is an act of Remembrance. We might shake a bucket or two."

He added: "It's about reminding people Remembrance is coming up."

The poppy has already visited various parts of Cornwall including Camborne, Newquay, and Bodmin.
