Nine hundred knitted angels for 'no Christmas spirit' town

Nine hundred knitted angels have surprised residents in a town accused of having "no Christmas spirit".

The angels were left in random places across Torpoint, Cornwall, in the middle of the night by members of St James' Church.

Samm Bickle overheard the comment from a local resident last Christmas and decided to take action.

Secret meetings to plan the operation have taken place since the beginning of 2017.
