Warwickshire couple get delayed HS2 compensation
The Department for Transport (DfT) has apologised to a couple who were meant to be paid compensation by HS2 in April.
Karl and Dawn Dalders from Gilson, Warwickshire, were told they would be paid because the proposed high-speed train line will pass near their home.
The couple have now received £500,000 for their home, plus £47,000 compensation, under the Statutory Blight scheme.
Joan Cummins spoke to Mr Dalders.
