'Chain of light' marks Coventry Blitz anniversary
About 1,000 people took part in a ceremony on Saturday night to mark the 75th anniversary of the Luftwaffe bombing raid on Coventry, which left 568 people dead and most of the city centre in ruins.
A "chain of light and hope" was passed from person to person, finishing at the cathedral, which was lit up in blue, white and red to mark Friday's attacks in Paris.
