Church plans to sell Wellesbourne allotments

Allotment holders are fighting plans by the Church of England to sell off their vegetable plots for housing.

Fifty homes are earmarked for the site at Wellesbourne in Warwickshire if planning permission is granted.

The site has been used by families to grow produce for more than 170 years.
