Cumbrian woman follows in father's Great North Run footsteps
A Cumbrian woman is taking part in this year's Great North Run in a bid to raise money for a charity close to her heart.
Fleck Ditchburn, from Lamplugh, was diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND) four years ago.
Now, his daughter Gemma is following in her father's footsteps by taking part in the run as he did in 1981.
She hopes by taking part, she can raise money to help research into the condition.
