Prince Charles in aid call for hill farmers

Prince Charles has highlighted the plight of hill farmers.

He has accused the big supermarkets and their shareholders of profiting from Britain's farmers while taking on "none of the risk" of dealing with the rollercoaster economics of food production.

Sheep farmer Will Rawling, whose family has worked and lived 1,200ft up in the Lake District fells for 500 years, said increasing cost meant it was increasingly difficult to carve a living.

Nick Beake spoke to him and found out how the Prince's Countryside Fund was helping farmers in a similar position.
