Seal rescued from Cumbrian farmer's field

A seal had to be rescued after it swam up the River Eden in Cumbria and became marooned in a Cumbrian farmer's field.

The young seal swam about 50 miles before it was found in a field in Appleby.

It was later released back into the sea at Walney Island.
