Lancaster bomber visit to Durham Tees Valley enjoyed by thousands

Thousands turned out to see one of the world's last flying Lancaster bombers visit Durham Tees Valley Airport.

The Canadian bomber was in the North East as part of its two month tour of the UK.

The plane is named after Canadian airman Andrew Mynarski, who was based at the airport during World War Two and was killed while trying to rescue a colleague.
