Decorated Herdwick sheep boost Cumbrian charity fundraising
A flock of models of decorated Herdwick sheep are being used to raise money for a charity which specialises in adventure activities for people with disabilities.
As it celebrates its 40th anniversary, the Calvert Trust has created a flock of life-sized Herdwick ewes which will soon be appearing in unexpected places around Cumbria.
The idea is to get people out spotting the sheep and taking selfies with them to help the charity raise more than £100,000 to develop a new rehabilitation centre.
The Herdwicks are about to be spread across various locations in Cumbria and Justin Farnan from the Calvert Trust is confident they will have a big impact and raise vital funds for them
