Military Wives Choir welcome home HMS Turbulent crew

The crew of a Royal Navy submarine were given a special welcome home performance in Plymouth Sound from the Military Wives Choir.

HMS Turbulent hosted the choir as it returned to Devonport in Plymouth after 10 months away.

Eleven members of the choir boarded the submarine.

They comprised wives and girlfriends of military personnel who were brought together for the BBC Two series, The Choir.
