Devon thieves plunder crabs from floating storage boxes

Thieves have been stealing crabs worth hundreds of pounds from floating stores used to keep them fresh.

Police in Devon are warning retailers to be wary of buying lobsters and crabs from dubious sources after several suppliers had their catch stolen.

In the worst single case, 200kg of live crab worth about £400 was stolen in the Salcombe estuary.
