Popular postie Sam switches on Falmouth Christmas lights

A Falmouth postwoman was chosen to switch on this year's Christmas lights in her seaside town.

Sam Weight sings Happy Birthday to people receiving cards and stays to comfort people who may be getting bad news on her round in Falmouth, Cornwall.

Bookshop owner Tash Berks said the postwoman had "a beautiful soul".

Businesses and local people voted for her to turn on the lights on Thursday.
