Pubs flooded as rivers burst banks in north Devon

Footage taken of villages across the north of Devon has emerged after heavy rainfall caused rivers to burst their banks.

People were evacuated from their homes in Barnstaple but no casualties were reported, Devon and Cornwall police said.

Officers have asked the public to "remain on alert" for more widespread flooding.
