'Coronavirus has taken the life out of university’

A student at the University of Exeter says the coronavirus pandemic has "taken the life out of university".

Students at the university have been asked not to socialise with anyone outside their household.

Taylor Skerritt, who is in her third year, says the new rules are making socialising at university "really difficult".

Coronavirus cases in Exeter rose from 80 to 372 in the week leading up to 3 October.
