Police call handlers threatened and abused during shifts

Call handlers at Devon and Cornwall Police have spoken to the BBC about threats and abuse they have received in the past year.

The abuse - which at times has been personal - includes threats against their lives.

It comes as the force reveals it has dealt with an additional 9,000 logs related to coronavirus breaches in the past three months alone.
