Devon teacher brings history lessons to TikTok

A teacher has gained thousands of followers by posting history lessons to TikTok.

Laurie Matthews, who teaches in Torquay, Devon, tries to capture the "magic of the stories" she tells.

She documents her car camping and history road trips to her 129,000 followers.

At 5ft 11in (180cm) tall, camping in her car is a tight squeeze but the 26-year-old said it is "cosy".
