Poole hit-and-run CCTV released in hunt for car

Police investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash in which an elderly man died have released CCTV of a car they want to trace.

Christopher Colegate, 69, was left fatally injured in Darby's Lane in Poole, Dorset, at the junction of Heath Avenue, at 19:25 GMT on 13 December.

He was taken to hospital where he later died.

Insp Matt Butler of Dorset Police's traffic unit said the car was "significant" to the investigation.
