Lulworth Cove landslide captured on video after heavy rainfall

Footage of a landslide along the Jurassic Coast in Dorset has been captured after days of heavy rainfall.

Hollie Gordon filmed the moment a section of Lulworth Cove began to fall on to the beachfront on Friday.

She posted the video urging families to be careful after the wet weather and severe flooding across the region.

The coastguard said it had not been notified of a landslide in that area.

In two other separate incidents, Dorset Council said there had been extensive damage to Shore Road in Swanage and landslip material on the highway near East Lulworth army camp.

It added: "This will require significant follow-up assessment and action which may take some time to resolve."

The landslip has closed the B3070 in west Lulworth, between the east Lulworth turn-off and Farm Lane.
