New police chief wants Essex force to be the best

The new Essex Police Chief Constable Stephen Kavanagh has said he wants to make his force the best in the country.

The former Deputy Assistant Commissioner with The Metropolitan Police told BBC Look East's Stewart White he was excited and privileged to be taking up his new role.
