Basildon Hospital criticised over disabled woman's death

An Essex hospital has been criticised by the Health Service Ombudsman for missing opportunities to save a young disabled woman.

Tina Papalabropoulos, 23, died at Basildon Hospital in 2009, five days after she was admitted.

Christine Papalabropoulos claimed her daughter would have been given better care by a vet.

The hospital says it has improved its care and treatment since then.
