Breakdance proposal surprises girlfriend in Southend

A man surprised his girlfriend by organising a flashmob-style performance at a Southend shopping centre, before asking her to marry him.

Billie Toms thought she was going to the Victoria Plaza to do a bit of shopping and to watch her boyfriend Joe Livermore perform with his breakdancing group.

But an elaborate flashmob-style performance ended with him popping the question.

Luckily for Mr Livermore his partner of eight years said yes.
