Christmas-loving man covers Chelmsford house in lights

A man has covered his home in thousands of Christmas lights and other festive decorations to raise money for charity.

Paul Bibby, 58, has had visitors from all over the East of England at his house in King's Road, Chelmsford, Essex.

He estimated it was costing him £8 per night in electricity but had raised more than £1,300 so far for the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance.

He said: "I started after Halloween so it took me a whole month to do them. I love Christmas."
