BBC Rewind: Felsted sugar beet factory's towers demolished

Archive pictures have shown the moment two large silos were toppled to make way for new homes.

People gathered in February 1999 to watch the demolition of the towers at the old sugar beet factory in Felsted, Essex.

The land was cleared to make way for 650 properties.
