Gloucestershire PCC count: Empty boxes found

Counting is under way in Gloucestershire for the first police and crime commissioner elections.

A total of 17.1% of the electorate turned out to vote - 80,618 people.

BBC Gloucestershire reporter Steve Knibbs said: "Several empty ballot boxes were discovered."

Four candidates stood in the election: Conservative Victoria Atkins, Liberal Democrat Alistair Cameron, Labour's Rupi Dhanda and Independent Martin Surl.
