Badger TB vaccination plan in Gloucestershire 'vital'

With the second year of pilot badger culls in the west of England expected to start within weeks, the government says its vaccination project in Gloucestershire is still a vital part of its plan to tackle bovine TB.

Now in its fifth year, scientists have been vaccinating badgers in a 100-sq km area around Stroud.

But the National Farmers' Union says badger vaccinations are not cost effective enough.
