Hawker Typhoon pensioners visit WW2 fighter plane project

Two women who helped construct fighter planes in World War Two have visited a project which aims to rebuild part of the aircraft they worked on.

Phyllis Gough and Peggy Fisher, who are both in their 90s, helped make Hawker Typhoons in Gloucester. The fighter aircraft played a crucial role in the conflict.

Gloucestershire's Jet Age Museum is now trying to raise £15,000 to restore a Hawker Typhoon aeroplane cockpit.
