The moment archaeologists had a first glimpse of a Roman tombstone found during an excavation in Cirencester has been captured by a BBC camera crew.

The archaeologists were overjoyed when they realised the tombstone featured legible writing.

Experts believe it marked the grave of a 27-year-old woman called Bodica, and is thought to date back to AD200.
